Arden Park Bridge Club – The Bridge Club meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month in the Arden Park Community room from 11:45 am – 3 pm.  

Arden Little League – Arden Little League play starts in April. The Arden Little League boundaries include the area bordered by Arden Way on the north.  Watt Avenue (east side of the street) to the American River on the south.  For more information, call 487-2701.

Arden Park Youth Soccer – Arden Park Youth Soccer competes with teams in the River City Youth Soccer League.  It is open to both boys and girls.  Practice begins in August and the season kicks off in September.  Games are held on Friday evenings for 5 year olds, and Saturday mornings for ages 6-18.  Registration for the 2010 season will take place in May.  Should you have questions or require additional information please call the automated Soccer Line at 916-481-9888, complete our online information request or send email to info@apsoccer.org

Literacy Little League – Get in the Starting Lineup!  Literacy Little League players (volunteers) from Arden Park and nearby churches have tutored Edison school 3rd graders in reading for the past ten years.  Your neighbors Vivian Counts and Dick Wehe are among our regular players, Opening day for the 09-10 Literacy season will be in mid September.  Tutors will meet with one student for 40 minutes early in the afternoon once a week either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to read a fun paperback and work on comprehension strategies.  In addition to regular players, we always need pinch hitters to step up to the plate and substitute for those who are traveling or ill.  Interested?  We will schedule a training session at a location close to you in early September.  Please call or e-mail Dorothy Marshall 488-2578, e-mail: dorothyma@csus.edu.

Arden Park Garden Club – The Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (Sept. – May) at 10:00 am.  Enjoy an informal sandwich luncheon after the program.  If you have children in the Preschool Program, join the Garden Club for the program.  If you are a new resident in Arden Park come see what the Garden Club has to offer.  We welcome new members.
