The Bridge Club meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month in the Arden Park Community room from 11:45 am – 3 pm.  

Literacy Little League

Get in the Starting Lineup!  Literacy Little League players (volunteers) from Arden Park and nearby churches have tutored Edison school 3rd graders in reading for the past ten years.  Your neighbors Vivian Counts and Dick Wehe are among our regular players, Opening day for the 09-10 Literacy season will be in mid September.  Tutors will meet with one student for 40 minutes early in the afternoon once a week either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to read a fun paperback and work on comprehension strategies.  In addition to regular players, we always need pinch hitters to step up to the plate and substitute for those who are traveling or ill.  Interested?  We will schedule a training session at a location close to you in early September.  Please call or e-mail Dorothy Marshall 488-2578, e-mail: dorothyma@csus.edu.

Arden Park Garden Club

The Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (Sept. – May) at 10:00 am.  Enjoy an informal sandwich luncheon after the program.  If you have children in the Preschool Program, join the Garden Club for the program.  If you are a new resident in Arden Park come see what the Garden Club has to offer.  We welcome new members.  www.ardenparkgardenclub.com
