This program was designed to give children a positive first step into Soccer.  Participants learn balance, body movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development through a series of sports-specific games and activities tailored to their attention spans.  Our trained staff and progressive curriculum allows kids to develop at their own pace in a fun and safe environment with lots of encouragement.

Skyhawks Hoopster-Tots

Learning basketball with Skyhawks has never been more fun!  These classes focus on dribbling, shot technique, passing and team work.  Adjustable hoops and appropriately sized basketballs are used to always provide just the right amount of challenge.

 

 

Arden Park Youth Soccer

Arden Park Youth Soccer competes with teams in the River City Youth Soccer League. It is open to both boys and girls. Practice begins in August and the season kicks off in September. Games are held on Friday evenings for 5 year olds, and Saturday mornings for ages 6-18. For more information go to www.apsoccer.org

Arden Little League

Arden Little League play starts in April. The Arden Little League boundaries include the area bordered by Arden Way on the north, Watt Avenue (east side of the street) to the American River on the south. For more information, call 487-2701.

Tennis

All tennis registrations are now being processed through the Arden Park Recreation and Park District’s registration system. You may register in person at the District office at 1000 La Sierra Drive or on the District website at www.aprpd.org by clicking the “Register Online” button on the homepage.

Summer Camps
Our tennis pro will be serving up the fun in these week-long tennis camps. We mix in some summer camp-style fun while providing a game-based approach to learning about the sport of tennis. Players will be hitting the ball in minutes and learning to rally in a team-oriented environment, all in the spirit of cooperative competition. Minimum 6, Maximum 8.
