Frankie and the Defenders is a Northern California based original Rockabilly band dedicated to providing a rockin’ fun dance party and unforgettable good time. Nominated for Sammie awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018, we have a new CD “Women, Cars and Guitars” available on our website along with song samples, band member bios and photos. Frontman Frankie Defury formerly led Frankie Flame and Ruthless Fun, a popular Bay Area band that won the KSJO Best of the Bay Contest, opened for Rick Derringer and toured California extensively.
With George Carlson on Bass and vocals and Eric Maxwell on drums and vocals, this group rocks its own songs and will do some covers. Also performing in the band is Jay Cavileer on harp. Michael Otwell is often a special guest star on Sax.
