NOTICE OF VACANCY AND INTENT TO

APPOINT A DIRECTOR TO THE BOARD OF THE

ARDEN PARK RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that one vacancy exists on the Board of Directors of the Arden Park Recreation and Park District. The vacancy was created by the resignation of a board member.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, in accordance with California Government Code Section 1780, the remaining Directors of the Arden Park Recreation and Park District intend to fill the vacancy by appointing successor.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the District is seeking a qualified individual to appoint to its Board of Directors and fill the vacancy. Interested individuals should submit a letter indicating their interest to serve on the District Board and complete and submit a District Application for Appointment form (available in the District office or on the District’s homepage at www.aprpd.org) no later than 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Interested applicants should submit their letter, completed Application for Appointment form and any other material to the APRPD District office, Attention: Colin Miller, General Manager, 1000 La Sierra Drive, Sacramento, CA 95864. All candidates must reside in Arden Park and be a registered voter in the State of California. For further information please contact the District office at (916) 483-6069.

Selection will likely occur at the April 21, 2022, Board meeting.
